I qualified from Bristol University School in July 1995. I then worked in Newquay in Cornwall for three years where I worked with farm animals, small animals and zoo animals – the practice did the vet work for Newquay Zoo. This work varied hugely from stitching up monkeys after fights to treating otters with kidney stones!
I joined Woodlands in the autumn of 1998 and have been involved in small animal work ever since. I have a particular interest in anaesthesia and enjoy acting as anaesthetist to the more complicated cases in the practice. I am committed to treating all animals in my care as if they were my own.
I’m married to Steve, who also works for Woodlands, and we have two children – Martin aged 6 and Carrie aged 4. Outside of work my time is spent with my family. We all enjoy walking on Dartmoor and looking after our menagerie of rescued pets. |
